SnapPrompt ("the extension") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how the extension handles your information.
SnapPrompt does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to us or any third party. The extension operates entirely within your browser.
When you choose to capture a UI component, SnapPrompt reads the structure, styling, and layout of the element you select on the current page, and may capture a screenshot of that element, solely to generate a prompt for you. This processing happens locally in your browser. The generated prompts, your settings, and your capture history are stored locally on your device using your browser's storage and are never sent to any external server.
The extension requests broad host access only so that it can capture components on any website you visit, and only acts when you explicitly start a capture. It does not monitor your browsing or read pages in the background.
We do not sell, share, or transmit any user data. No analytics or tracking tools are used.
You can clear all locally stored data at any time using the "Clear All Data" button in the extension's Settings.
